"Decades of forgotten rink relics, questionable counter clutter, and the ongoing high-priority search for Boner. (Note: The Dirty Dancing LaserDisc is claimable, but hands off the Xanadu album).
Title:Dirty Dancing on LaserDisc (RECOVERY STATUS: ACTIVE)
Description:"Found this absolute unit of a disc wedged under the skate return counter. It's up for grabs if it's yours.
NOTE TO THE PUBLIC:You might notice the copy of Xanadu sitting right next to it on the display wall. THAT IS NOT LOST. DO NOT TOUCH IT. That album is strictly off-limits. It is vital to the midnight operations of this facility when the circus tents are locked up and the strobe lights go down. You can dance dirtily all you want, but the Xanadu stays here."
Status: Claimable (Unlike Xanadu, which is priceless)
Title: Pristine Bottle of Crystal Pepsi (RECLAIMED / OFF MARKET)
Description:
"An absolute time-capsule miracle. Discovered completely intact and perfectly clear, sitting quietly on the wooden ledge right at the edge of the empty roller rink floor. The logo was flawless, the factory seal unbroken—a literal holy grail of 90s pop-culture hydration.
However, the rules of the Midway are absolute: finder's keepers, especially if the finder is the night shift custodian.
Rip Tyde spotted it mid-stride during his 2:00 AM solo Xanadu skate session. While flying past the ledge in his neon leopard print coat and clunky brown skates, he snatched the bottle, cracked the seal, and drank the entire 30+ year old beverage in under four seconds. He claims it was 'immaculately crisp' and 'gave him the spiritual energy required to nail a triple spin.'
Update: This item has been successfully reunited with its true owner. The owner is Rip Tyde. It is now safely locked away inside his stomach. If you are desperate for the empty, back-washed plastic bottle, you can try haggling with him behind the DJ booth, but we don't recommend it."
Price: Priceless
Status: Successfully Found (By Rip's Stomach)
Title: Disguised "Ratt" Cassette (Actually Dave's Garbage Skate Mix)
Description:
"We thought we found pure, unadulterated 80s hair metal gold resting right against the glowing glass of the Sunset Riders arcade cabinet. The insert card promised us Out of the Cellar. We were ready to blast 'Round and Round' until the speakers melted.
Then we looked at the actual cassette shell, and our disappointment became immeasurable.
This is not an official Ratt cassette. Some absolute counterfeit criminal named Dave took a blank tape, shoved it inside a bootleg j-card, and hastily sharpied 'SKATE MIX - DAVE'S' across the top. We played it. It is awful. It's a disjointed, chaotic nightmare of local garage band demos, static transitions, and what sounds like someone chewing chips too close to a microphone. He catfished us with a legendary album cover just to subject us to his audio trash.
THE EXECUTIVE DECREE: Effective immediately, Dave is permanently blacklisted. Dave is not allowed inside the circus tents. Dave is not allowed within fifty feet of the roller rink floor. If Dave is spotted trying to rent a pair of brown skates with orange wheels, management has full authorization to launch him directly into the parking lot.
You can have this tape for free, but only if you promise to record over Dave's crimes."
Status: Unclaimed / Actively Detested
Title: Scattered Stack of 1994 POGs (Featuring Cursed Holographic Slammer)
Description:
"Discovered strewn across the felt of the air hockey table like the remains of a brutal, ancient battlefield. Based on the sheer volume of cardboard circles left behind, someone lost their entire 5th-grade life savings here in a high-stakes tournament that clearly turned violent.
The collection includes twelve radioactive skull POGs, six yin-yangs, a pristine 8-Ball series flyer, and one incredibly heavy, illegal brass slammer with a hologram of a shark wearing sunglasses.
CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION: After reviewing the security tapes, it turns out this wasn't a normal game. Dave (who is still actively banned from the premises) showed up with a plastic tube of POGs and tried to use an actual moving air hockey puck as a mega-slammer. The sheer velocity completely pulverized three rare holographic holographic caps and lodged the brass slammer directly into the score-keeper slot, short-circuiting the entire table. The table now only counts scores in increments of 666 and smells like ozone.
If these belong to you, you can have them back. Except for the shark slammer. Rip Tyde has claimed it as a replacement wheel-cap for his brown skates."
